Beginning New Life in Christ

A path for children age 7+ to receive Baptism and begin their journey in the life of the Church.

Age of Reason Baptism

The “age of reason” (around age 7) is when a children begin to understand right and wrong, recognize God’s presence, and freely respond to His grace.

For children who have not yet been baptized, enrollment in Christian Formation helps them grow in faith and prepare to receive the Sacrament of Baptism with understanding and intention. Through formation and the support of their family, children begin their journey into the life of the Church, where they are welcomed as sons and daughters of God.
