Supporting parents as the primary educators of the faith.

Parents are the first and most important teachers of the faith. Long before a child enters a classroom or prepares for a sacrament, faith is formed at home – through conversation, prayer, example, and daily life.

Parent Discipleship Days are designed to support and encourage parents in that mission.

Parent Discipleship Days

These experiences create opportunities for parents to:

  • Grow in their own relationship with Christ

  • Connect with other Catholic parents

  • Reflect on the challenges and joys of raising children in the faith

  • Learn practical ways to bring faith into everyday family life

Some experiences may connect with larger parish events – such as our Parish Mission – while others are designed around smaller parent-to-parent conversations, reflection, and discussion.

Whether gathered in a large parish setting, a small group, an online webinar, or even briefly during drop-off and pick-up times, the goal remains the same: helping parents grow as disciples while supporting one another in faith.

We know many parents feel like “parking lot parents,” constantly moving from one activity to another. Our hope is to meet parents where they are - creating simple but meaningful opportunities to encounter Christ and connect with others in the midst of busy family life.
