Regular participation is essential to helping children grow in faith, build friendships, and develop a sense of belonging within the Church. Weekly attendance helps create consistency and allows children to fully engage in the formation experience.
At St. Mary Magdalene, we are committed to creating meaningful and engaging experiences where children encounter Christ and grow as disciples. Because parents are the primary educators of faith, family participation matters too through regular Mass attendance, Parent Discipleship opportunities, Sacrament Workshops, and supporting faith formation at home.

Regular participation at Mass is the foundation of Catholic life and one of the most important ways families grow together in faith. Faith Formation is designed to support what happens at Mass – not replace it –making Sunday worship an essential part of the formation journey.
-
Parent Discipleship Days create opportunities for parents to grow in faith, connect with other families, and reflect on the challenges and joys of raising children Catholic.
These experiences may include workshops, parish missions, conversations, webinars, and other opportunities designed to support parents as the primary educators of faith.

These parent experiences help families better understand the meaning behind the sacraments while preparing to accompany their children through important milestones of faith. Workshops focus on helping families encounter and experience the beauty of the sacraments together.
